These beans are grown in a protected area of indigenous peoples in the Planadas and Gaitania areas. Belonging to over 240 families each owning 2 to 4 hectares of land. Then, these beans are decaffeinated using the Sugar Cane Decaf Process in Manizales, Colombia. This is a natural way of decaffeination which removes around 97% of the caffeine in a way that is environmentally conscious, and removes any solvent that would be left on the bean. Expect flavor notes of maple syrup, raisins, and grapefruit.
